Interested in events, hospitality, or getting experience working for a small business? Twisted Vine Events is a small, woman-owned company that offers event planning, coordination and sound services. We work on 50+ events a year, from weddings and private parties, to corporate events and non-profit fundraisers.

Our internship program's goal is to provide you with the work experience you need in the areas you are most interested in, so we can build the internship around your interests, goals, and availability. If you don’t see an internship that fits what you’re looking for, but the world of events is calling your name, contact us and we’ll build a custom program with you!

Current Internship Opportunities

Coordination Assistant: Part-time, stipend available

Do you love throwing a good party? Does it drive you bonkers when someone doesn’t dot an “i” or cross a “t”? Check out an internship as a Coordination Assistant! Work with our lead coordinator “in the field” at events, meeting clients and vendors, setting up/cleaning up, learning how to build/manage timelines and budgets, assisting with day-of management and more.

Requirements:

Driver's License
Detail-oriented
Professional, especially under high-pressure situation (bride-zillas are rare, but they do happen!)
Ability to think creatively
Able to lift 25+ pounds
Organized and on time

DJ and Sound Assistant: Part-time, stipend available

If you’re a music lover who loves the tech side of things, this internship is for you! Work with our sound guru Patrick, who has over 15 years of industry experience, and learn all there is to know about live sound and events. Previous experience using sound equipment is great, but definitely not necessary. That’s what an internship is for! Work both on live sound at festivals and events, as well as recorded music. Learn how to run the equipment, adjust quality/settings, troubleshoot, hook up live bands, create playlists and timelines, and more.
