Interested in events, hospitality, or getting experience working for a small business? Twisted Vine Events is a small, woman-owned company that offers event planning, coordination and sound services. We work on 50+ events a year, from weddings and private parties, to corporate events and non-profit fundraisers.
Our internship program's goal is to provide you with the work experience you need in the areas you are most interested in, so we can build the internship around your interests, goals, and availability. Current Opportunities
Assistant Coordinator: Part-time, Stipend
Do you love throwing an amazing party? Does it drive you bonkers when someone doesn’t dot an “i” or cross a “t”? Well then maybe event planning and coordination is the job for you! Work with our lead coordinator “in the field” at events both big and small, and learn about timeline and budget management; set up/clean up and event management; small business management; and more.
Requirements:
18+
Driver's License
Detail-Oriented
Professional, especially under high-pressure situations
Ability to think creatively
Able to lift 25+ pounds
Organized and on time
DJ/Sound Assistant: Part-time, Stipend
If you’re a music lover who loves the tech side of things, this internship is for you! Work with our sound guru Patrick, who has over 15 years of industry experience, and learn all there is to know about live sound and events. Previous experience using sound equipment is great, but definitely not necessary. That’s what an internship is for! Work both on live sound at festivals and events, as well as recorded music. Learn how to run the equipment, adjust quality/settings, troubleshoot, hook up live bands, create playlists and timelines, and more.
